Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Membership Manager Kathy Bacon is set to retire in June after 13 years of service to New Hampshire's state capital chamber of commerce. It is with mixed emotions that we formally announce the retirement of long-time Chamber Membership Manager Kathy Bacon effective June 30, 2021. Kathy has served in her capacity for nearly fifteen years, and during her tenure she has grown the Greater Concord Chamber membership into among the largest and most active chambers in New Hampshire.

According to Chamber President Tim Sink, “Kathy has brought tremendous energy and networking skills into her daily work, constantly making valuable connections between businesses and showing people how to maximize the value of their membership. While we are happy that she will now be able to enjoy more time with her family, we are really sorry to see her go. She has been part of our staff family for a long time.”

We want to share some member feedback about their time working with Kathy:

"I met Kathy as everyone does when I joined the Concord Chamber and was immediately impressed with her warmth, interest in our business, and knowledge of the Chamber and its members. She has been a FANTASTIC communicator for the Chamber, always keeping members in the loop and looking for special connections for each member to bolster their network. As members of 5 (five!) Chambers I can honestly say she is among the best at what she does in the state. Beyond that, her caring heart shows through in various ways through her community connections and volunteerism."
~ Glenn Badger

"Kathy's sheer optimism, energy, sincere caring and follow through make every Concord Chamber of Commerce member feel special. From initial contact, to understanding member business goals, to making connections and suggestions, to presenting Chamber services and benefits most appropriate to each member, Kathy gets it done. And with charm and grace."
~ Andrea Williams

"Since being a Chamber member for almost two years and interacting with her on many occasions, I've only become more convinced that her recruitment success genuinely comes from a sincere kindness and others-centeredness."
~ Ryan Robinson

Join us in wishing Kathy well as she begins this next chapter. Thank you for everything, Kathy!
