CONCORD, NH – Sean Skabo, chair of The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Business and Education Task Force, invites Concord-area teachers to apply for education grants through the Chamber’s Business Grants for Teachers program.
Each year the Chamber awards grants to educators who have developed innovative teaching programs for use in Greater Concord schools. Recipients demonstrate to the committee that their projects fit a specific educational need, are unique to their respective schools and are not supported by the school system’s annual budget. The Chamber raises funding for the Business Grants program through its annual Funds for Education Golf Tournament to be held August 1 at Beaver Meadow Golf Course.
The deadline to submit a grant application is Friday, June 1, 2018. For more information about the Business Grants program or to download an application, please visit our website at www.ConcordNHChamber.com/golftournament or contact the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce at (603) 224-2508.
