Chamber presents timely forums addressing the economy, legislative session and an update from Governor Sununu

CONCORD, NH (February 2021) - The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites members and the public to three upcoming virtual forums addressing timely issues. Economic Insights on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 9-10 a.m.; State of the State featuring Governor Chris Sununu on Thursday, March 4 from 10-11 a.m.; and Legislative Update on Thursday, March 11 from 9-10 a.m. These highly anticipated annual forums will take place in a webinar format, so attendees can easily join and submit questions during the live presentations.

Economic Insights features guest speaker Dr. Osborne Jackson, senior economist at the New England Public Policy Center in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Research Department. During the event, sponsored by Eversource Energy Services, Dr. Jackson will share an overview of how the past year’s events have affected both the state and New England economy. Forum attendees will gain insight on regional economic trends to help inform their business activity during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor Chris Sununu will discuss current economic challenges, COVID-19 vaccine rollout and other priorities for New Hampshire at State of the State, sponsored by Lincoln Financial Group. The Governor will also address opportunities for the state, especially as they relate to the business community.

Legislative Update features a panel of experts including David Juvet of Business & Industry Association of NH, Phil Sletten of NH Fiscal Policy Institute, and Dean Spiliotes of NH Political Capital. Each will share insight on the top issues in the 2021 legislative session during the event sponsored by Ledyard National Bank. Moderator Ari Pollack, Esq., of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, PC, will facilitate.
