Concord has been rated one of the safest and best places to live, not only in New Hampshire, but in the country.
CONCORD, NH (March 2021) – The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce invites members and the public to its 30th Annual Business Showcase on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 3-5:15 p.m., hosted virtually on Remo. Presented by Merrimack County Savings Bank and Unitil, the online event features the products and services of Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce members from a variety of industries in a friendly, local trade show atmosphere. Attendance is open to Chamber members, young professionals and the general public.
The Chamber invites member businesses and organizations to exhibit at the event which will double as its well-attended Business DURING Hours online networking event for the month of April. Booth space is reserved exclusively for Greater Concord Chamber members. If you are not currently a member, considering joining to take advantage of this outstanding marketing opportunity for a reduced investment. Following the Chamber’s 2020 Virtual Business Showcase, an online exhibitor enthusiastically shared, “Thank you for an effective, positive event. It was very well done and I truly made some excellent connections, including two very strong prospective clients who want to talk.” For 2021, the Chamber is taking Business Showcase to a whole new level through Remo.
“We’re excited to continue this popular tradition—now in its 30th year—that highlights the Capital region’s welcoming and enduring business climate through revolutionary technology,” said Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce President Tim Sink. “Join us virtually to connect with future clients and reconnect with your community.”
After a year of limited face-to-face trade show and in-person business development opportunities, Remo’s novel approach to virtual networking drew rave reviews from attendees at recent Chamber events. It’s free to use and facilitates a real networking feel through self-directed video chat. Attendees will enter through a virtual floor map that displays trade show booths and fellow attendees at booths or tables (see image). Each individual can independently join or initiate a video chat with an exhibitor, chat with a group at a table, or start a conversation with another attendee with the click of a mouse. Attendees and exhibitors can add a photo, website URL and social media links to their Remo profile ahead of the event for streamlined introductions and contact exchanges. Unlike other online events, where attendees sit and listen to a presenter, the Chamber's 30th Annual Business Showcase will be far more interactive. Attendees will come and go to booths at their own pace through Remo, so exhibitors can tailor conversations and presentations to the individual, instead of relying on a PowerPoint or video presentation. Exhibitors will also gain admission to an exclusive Exhibitor B2B Networking Party on Thursday, April 8 from 4:30-5 p.m.
Business Showcase offers safe networking opportunities and a trade show experience at a time when many are eager to resume day-to-day business pursuits. The event includes fun door prizes and access to Greater Concord’s business, education and nonprofit communities. Attendance is complimentary and open to all who wish to attend. Special thanks to our media partners: Binnie Media, Concord Monitor, Laconia Daily Sun and New Hampshire Business Review.
