CONCORD, NH (August 2022) – Each year, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce recognizes someone who has made a positive impact on the Capital Region. This individual is typically well-known for their community spirit, and has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities throughout their professional career or lifetime of volunteer activities. The public is invited to submit their nominations for the Chamber’s most prestigious award—the 2022 Citizen of the Year—by Monday, September 19.
Past Citizens of the Year have represented a wide range of industries, nonprofit organizations, and served as volunteers for important community projects. The 2021 award recipient dedicated 47 years to providing educational opportunities for students of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. Jim Snodgrass of Second Start received a standing ovation from an audience of area professionals when presented with this esteemed award. The 2022 Citizen of the Year will be celebrated at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, presented by Merrimack County Savings Bank, on Wednesday, November 2 at the Grappone Conference Center.
