Offered by the Community College System of NH and funded by the US Department of Labor, the program works with a number of industry sectors including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Business and Finance, Construction, Healthcare, and Hospitality. Our webinar series with Concord Regional Technical Center (CRTC) shared success stories from area employers and offered practical strategies for businesses to engage students. The goal of this series was to connect area students directly with professionals in every industry.
In this webinar, presenters Kathi Terami of Careers CLiC and Amy Tietjen Smith of Concord Regional Technical Center shared how your business can help foster the next generation of workers in your field. Explore the role workplace partners can play in developing meaningful career pathways for students. Business participation can range from simply hosting facility tours to mentoring students.
During this session, we're pleased to introduce you to a panel of workplace learning partners, including a representative from New Hampshire's Bureau of Career Development, businesses that have hosted students for expanded learning opportunities, work-based learning specialists and two students who enrolled in a work-based learning experience with a local business. This panel shared success stories from area employers and discussed practical strategies that engage students who are interested in pursuing careers in your field.
